  • What is the difference between pickleball and padel?
Pickleball and padel are both racket sports. Yet there are some important differences. A first difference is in the material you use. Pickleball is played with a wooden or composite paddle and a plastic, hole-punched wiffle ball. Padel is played with a padel racket and a (soft) tennis ball. In addition, the court also differs. With padel, the court is surrounded by a glass wall. In pickleball, the court is simply surrounded by the sidelines and baselines, just like in tennis. Moreover, a pickleball court consists of two non-volley zones (also called the Kitchen). Finally, the rules of the game are also quite different. You can read more about it on our blog!
